This traffic signal box is a part of the Craigieburn Road Legacy Art trail.

As part of the Craigieburn Road Upgrade, Major Road Projects Victoria worked with local artists and the community to reimagine and reinvent public spaces through a signal box art trail. 

Local artists were invited to contribute to a vibrant art trail featuring 30 traffic signal cabinets along Craigieburn Road. Each piece of public art tells the story of "What makes Craigieburn unique," serving as the main theme of the art installation. The artwork also celebrates sub-themes such as community, connection, travel, history, culture, diversity, environment, nature, and sustainability.

Yvonne Bradford is a local artist who views art as an escape into a world of imagination and passion. Originally working exclusively in soft pastels, Yvonne has recently begun experimenting with acrylic paints, drawn to their vibrancy and texture. This exploration has pushed her out of her comfort zone, reinforcing her belief that the journey of learning is endless, and to never give up.

Yvonne is passionate about capturing the individuality of animals and birds on canvas. She finds immense satisfaction in bringing her subjects to life, depicting them in a realistic style that showcases their true essence. Every new canvas excites her, transforming a blank space into a vivid expression of colour and dimension.
