Street Art Cities

 This work was realized for the Biennale street art "Superwalls" (May-June 2023). 
 

Immersa nel verde del Parco Etnografico di Rubano, la parete dipinta dall’artista vuole essere una simbolica prosecuzione della flora che la circonda. Steli, foglie, fiori si ramificano sul muro richiamando le carte da parati di un tempo. I colori tenui che vanno dal giallino, al verde acqua, dal lilla al corallo si alternano all’intenso verde smeraldo delle foglie più rigogliose. Un angolo della parete è però volutamente sbiadito, i colori sono colati l’uno sull’altro in una mescolanza informe. Senza il rispetto per gli spazi verdi che ci circondano la bellezza della natura non potrà durare nel tempo.

Immersed in the greenery of the Rubano Ethnographic Park, the wall painted by the artist is meant to be a symbolic continuation of the flora that surrounds it. Stems, leaves, flowers branch out on the wall, recalling the wallpapers of the past. The soft colors ranging from yellow to aqua green, from lilac to coral alternate with the intense emerald green of the most luxuriant leaves. However, a corner of the wall is deliberately faded, the colors are poured over each other in a shapeless mixture. Without respect for the green spaces that surround us, the beauty of nature cannot last over time.
