This work is located in the lobby of the Metro Line IV station: Guinardó / Hospital Sant Pau. Once there, we find ourselves in front of a large mural, about 60 square meters in area, which pays a well-deserved tribute to all healthcare workers for their extraordinary work during the pandemic. In the same way, it wants to be a thank you to the city of Barcelona and its inhabitants, "to their spirit of overcoming and resilience, a song to hope, positivism and happiness after the hard months of confinement" due to the coronavirus, as stated by TMB through a statement.
The work of the North American artist Philip Stanton, resident in Barcelona for more than 30 years, was carried out over four weeks with the help of students of the creative illustration degree at the Universitat Eina, a subject taught by the artist himself at this University Center for Design and Art in Barcelona. It shows us a colorful landscape where we can recognize emblematic places in our city.
