Great art makes the viewer pause and think.
Great art makes the viewer feel something, an emotion.
Great art tells a story.
I can’t think of any of our street artists who does this better than Amanda.
This is just stunning work. Powerful, beautiful and devastating at the same time. Standing in front of this today, thinking about the world we are leaving for our children and grandchildren, gave me chills and brought a tear to my eye.
Amanda said of the artwork on her Instagram; "They say history repeats itself but it kinda feels like we are living in unprecedented times."
This work replaced another of Amanda's pieces titled "Ceasfefire" - you can see it here.

This piece is painted on one of the pylons supporting the Chandler Highway bridge over the Yarra River, it is on the Yarra Trail, on the north side of the river. If driving to see it I would park in Yarra Boulevard, cross the Chandler Highway via the pedestrian lights to the east side of the road and walk across the bridge - you'll find the steps down to the Yarra Trail once you cross the river, on the left hand side of the shared pedestrian/cycling pathway.
