Jan van Riebeeck

The Jan van Riebeeck mural was completed by Freddy Sam and Gaia in 2014 prior to the final revamp of the area around The Cosmopolitan in Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg.  The first two photos are from Gaia and @2summers (a South African blogger) just after completion, the third photo is current.  You can see the mural partially blocked by the new gardens in the courtyard of the hotel.
