In June 2017, Jef Aerosol has carried out a big fresco called "Shared differences" on one of the French Institute's walls, gathering musicians, anonymous people as well as Izmir celebrities (such as Dario Moreno and Henri Langlois). His images in black, white and various tones of grey tell us the story of an epoch, emphasized by his enigmatically famous red arrow, the artist's second signature as well as his trademark. One of his symbolic works globally known, which we will come across in Izmir, is the "sitting kid", portraying a pensive solitory young boy that he immortalized from the Great Wall of China to Ushualia, from London to New York.
