Muurschildering uit augustus 2029 voor Street Art Festival.

Piet Rodriguez is autodidact en heeft zijn hele leven met potloden getekend. In 2012 ontdekte hij zijn passie voor schilderen. Na zijn studie hotel en restaurant richtte hij zich op de reclamewereld, die zijn aandacht trok vanwege de creativiteit.
Tegen het einde van zijn studie kreeg hij door een tentoonstelling van amateurschilders de drang om op doek te schilderen. Het was liefde op het eerste gezicht.
Daarna stortte hij zich op realistische portretten en andere composities, alles tussen surrealisme en symbolisme in. Hij werkt voornamelijk in zwart-wit en het licht is de sleutel tot de ziel van de onderwerpen die hij schildert.
Eind 2015 liet het collectief Propaganza hem kennismaken met spraypainting en de wereld van de straatkunst. Het is een nieuwe techniek en een nieuwe wereld waarin hij zich wil onderscheiden.

De tekst 'We should we alright' aan de rechterzijde is van Apac. De tekst verwoordt de gevoelens van de Hasseltse graffitiscene na het overlijden van de lokale artiest Jones.

Pete Rodriguez is self-taught and has drawn with pencils all his life. In 2012, he discovered his passion for painting. After studying hotel and restaurant, he turned to the advertising world, which caught his attention for its creativity.
Towards the end of his studies, an exhibition of amateur painters gave him the urge to paint on canvas. It was love at first sight.
He then plunged into realistic portraits and other compositions, everything between surrealism and symbolism. He works mainly in black and white and light is key to the soul of the subjects he paints.
In late 2015, the collective Propaganza introduced him to spray painting and the world of street art. It is a new technique and a new world in which he wants to stand out.

The text ‘We should we alright’ on the right is by Apac. The text expresses the feelings of the Hasselt graffiti scene after the death of local artist Jones.
