Pinky's Promise

This charming mural captures the joy and commitment of a "pinky promise" made between children. It's fun to speculate on what they might have been promising each other. The mural shows and boy and a girl surrounded by a whirlwind of flowers linking their littlest fingers for posterity. Organizers called it a "community mural project where we recycle paint and donate our time to create these public artworks for our neighborhoods in El Paso." This one isn't far from Ascarate Park so you can see quite a few works (more by Adrian Lopez nearby) in a short visit.
