Yellow Pillow

A huge yellow (orange?) pillow simulated by the hollowed space resting on it. Painted for Street Prints Ōtautahi, the theme of caring for the people is to encourage rest and a soft fall, after the 2011 Christchurch earthquake event. The pillow at ground level has been covered with graffiti art.

Full name of the artwork: "Some of the boundless wrinkles caused by the weight of a brick resting on a yellow pillow"
