Arendschot

This artwork depicts the local "legend" of the town of Aarschot. The name of the city of Aarschot supposedly is a reference to the word "Arendschot", which roughly translates to "The Shooting of the Eagle".  The place the Eagle fell down after being shot was where the city of Aarschot was created.  Bisser painted this dead eagle buried under the ground.
