About the artist
Wild Drawing (WD) was born and raised on Bali Indonesia and holds degrees in both Fine and Applied Arts. He started painting on the street in 2000 and since then he spends most of his time working there, although he never stopped working in his studio. His early life was filled with exposure to his island's natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, so his eastern-western sociocultural background is combined in a unique way that makes his style particularly recognisable. WD always interacts with the spot where he works by incorporating various elements of it into his work, so as there is harmony between the mural and the spot where it is painted. He focuses on 3D large-scale anamorphic illusionary murals that are more than just colourful expressions of creativity. They are powerful stories that engage viewers and spark important conversations about the human experience. WD is based in Athens, Greece.
